Sometimes it’s the little things that can set the stage for success in a child’s life.
Gordon Stirrett Wealth Management has committed $50,000 to the unique after school program of Start2Finish. This program helps kids increase their physical activity, adopt healthy eating habits and improve their grades and self esteem.
Our donation supported the Start2Finish program for four years at St. Joseph's – Alexander MacKay Elementary School. The program includes a healthy snack, running, and tutoring for kids who may not otherwise have access to these services.
Students involved in the program in other communities have benefitted from the program through better grades and improved literacy, higher fitness levels, increased confidence and lower incidences of youth crime.
